T.E.N. Approach – TRAINING
In 2011, the UK Chief Medical Officers (CMOs) published revised guidelines for physical activity. For the first time the guidelines take a life-course approach, updating the guidelines for adults, children and young people and including guidelines for early years and older people.
The UK CMOs recommend that adults should achieve at least 150 minutes of at least moderate intensity physical activity a week, it recognises the comparable benefits of achieving 75 minutes of vigorous intensity activity. The CMOs also recommend that children and young people should achieve a total of at least 60 minutes of at least moderate intensity physical activity each day. Start Active, Stay Active6 includes the guidelines for early years, encouraging physical activity from birth and for at least 180 minutes a day for those who are able to walk.
It also includes guidelines on reducing sedentary behaviour for all age groups. Start Active, Stay Active supersedes the CMO’s previous report (in 2004) on At least 5 a week: Evidence on the impact of physical activity and its relationship to health. View national Statistics document
Lez’s training is amazingly easy to carry out (although you have to work at it!) and can be done in 10 minutes every day (or twice a day for better results). Like everything he does, it will be customised to you as an individual with a predefined result in mind. Everyone who has done Lez’s training has seen excellent results.
T.E.N. Approach – EDUCATION
Understanding what we eat and what exercise we do is fundamental to Lez’s approach to wellness. It is not just based on doing masses of exercise and going on a diet. Eating and exercise are both huge subjects in their own right that require a deeper understanding to ensure that you are in control of all that you do with your body. Lez’s training and courses will make this a breeze so that you can easily maintain long term health long after the course.
T.E.N. Approach – NUTRITION
Nutrition is very big in Lez’s training as it is vital that you understand the real truth about what you are eating right now and what you should be eating. Like his fitness training, Lez keeps cooking and eating simple to remember and 10 minutes food preparation a day will keep you on track for a longer healthier life.
